Art, a 38 year-old man from the village Sakon (Thailand), came to work in the fields of Israel five years ago. Tomorrow he’ll return back home to reunite with his wife and son after a time of intense longings.
Art’s passion, as his name suggests, is art. During his period in the fields of Israel he painted sceneries of his homeland on the fences behind the greenhouses, where he worked every day. These images were weaving in some familiar surroundings, slowly and quietly. With his small interventions and naive additions to his habitat far away from where he belongs to, Art has changed the Israeli landscape as we know it.
